FoxVox Falcon BMS Libary v4.37.4 v1 Update
Welcome to this new new version of the FoxVox BMS VCC Library, updated for BMS 4.37.4.
---------- Changes ------------
- Revised to start with VCC disabled by default. To start the Crew Chief, say "Engage Chief", "Start Crew Chief" or other similar phrase based on the defined recognitions keys (found on the 'Open' VCG [Voice Command Group]).
- Added full support for female pilots.
- Added new 'Terminate Flight Refuel' command to Tanker vcg.
- Simplified the configurations to two: Default (flight) and Chief (VCC)
- FoxVoxParser.dll has been updated to v1.3
---------- Instructions ------------
After installing FoxVox and extracting the library files to a location of your choice (keeping all the assets together), do the following:
- Open the library in the FoxVox application.
- Configure the FoxVoxParser plugin for your BMS setup:
- Set the path to your BMS key file in the FoxVoxParser plugin.
- Locate the plugin icon to the right of the library name found just below the application icons.
- Click it and expand the FoxVoxParser plugin.
- Set the parameter from its current value to the path of your BMS key file ([BMS Install Dir]\User\Config\BMS - Auto.key by default)
Change the path to your BMS User key file
- Click the refresh button on the plugin which will turn red after it runs once
(this is because it is designed to run once only at startup to map all of the BMS bindings). - Enable it to run at startup each time.
- Set the path to your BMS key file in the FoxVoxParser plugin.
- (Optional) For female pilots, set the 'Female' variable to initialize as True:
- Click the Variables toolbar button to open the variable definitions window.
Set the Female variable value to 'True' - Change the value for Female to True (type in 'True' for value). Designated pilot gender can also be change on the fly by speaking one of the following voice commands (changes made via voice are in-session only and not saved)
- "Change to Male Pilot"
- "Change to Female Pilot"
- "Change Gender" (or "Change Pilot Gender") to alternate
- Click the Variables toolbar button to open the variable definitions window.
---------- Notes ------------
The library is designed to set the following up automatically based on BMS keybinds:
- UHF/VHF Push-to-Talk
- Large Movements based on joystick input for VCC
- Left & Right Brake Movements based on joystick/keyboard input for VCC
- MPO Switch for VCC
If everything works correctly, everything should all be set up automatically from the plugin. If not, you'll need to set them manually and feel free to let me know. If the auto-binding doesn't work for some reason, you can just set the PTT manually to your controller.
The following menu bindings are available on the included, but disabled 'Comms Menus' KCG [Key Command Group]:
- Pinky shift + Comms Switch Up (UHF) = ATC Menu
- Pinky shift + Comms Switch Down (VHF) = AWACS Menu
- Pinky shift + Comms Switch Left = Wingman Menu
- Pinky shift + Comms Switch Right = JTAC/Other Agencies Menu
There is also a KCG for 'Mouse Control' provided to give you in-game mouse cursor and button control from your keyboard/controller/hotas device. They are set up for you as far as possible, however you will need to bind your own inputs to them manually.
To use either of these, just enable them on each configuration where you want them active. Alternatively, feel free to delete them.
There is still more on the horizon still with callsigns and flight information being brought in automatically in this evolving project.
All dependent files should be kept together with the library. If a folder is moved or renamed, but still located alongside or below the library file path, FoxVox will automatically find and update the file paths, but any file renaming will need to be also performed within the library.
You can fully run the VCC interaction without launching BMS in an automated test mode (it detects if BMS is not active). When running in test mode without BMS, the Crew Chief responses to inputs are done automatically on a timer instead. This allows you to refine the voice detection and practice without having to start BMS.
Special thanks and credits go to Bogey Dope for providing the original sound assets and design, and for giving permission to distribute his work with this library. Also thanks to Tomcattwo for providing the updated startup procedure; AND ... Special thanks to all those who have left positive reviews, feedback, and even donations for this project. I am truly grateful for your support.

any chance for update? some of the commands doesnt seems to be working on my end, it only show Processed command but not execute it such as "Request Visual Approach", however command like "ATC Menu" and all chief command does work.
anyway still great piece of work you made here.
All commands are working, but you may not be meeting the criteria. Try "Tower request visual approach" for example. You are free to make adjustments as desired to change the phrases as well. It's designed to be very easy to customize commands to the way you like them, but be sure to watch the basic tutorial first. Play around with an empty library file from scratch to quickly get a feel for it, then make alterations once it's comfortable.
Thanks alot, i'll see how it goes
